CO2 Fractionated Laser Frankfurt Wiesbaden

Fraxel and CO2 laser (fractionated laser): Laser for wrinkle and scar reduction

Fractional laser treatment represents a breakthrough in aesthetic treatment, based on the new field of "fractionated photothermolysis".

The difference to "normal" lasers is that the laser beam does not treat the entire surface of the skin, but spreads many small treatment points over a square centimeter of skin. Between the individual points remains untreated skin, whereby the healing is very fast. The downtime is therefore lower. The treatment is usually with local anesthesia.

Damaged skin is repaired with very little negative side effects and no long downtime. General anesthesia is not necessary.

The laser treatment brings the healthy skin cells to the surface and reduces wrinkles (eg around the eyes), "pixel by pixel", point by point.

The laser always treats only very small areas of the skin at once without damaging the outer protective cover of the skin. In the months following the laser treatments, new collagen is formed, thus smoothing the skin.

Applications:

  • Wrinkles treatment of the face, neck, hands and décolleté
  • skin rejuvenation
  • Age spots, sun damage
  • Melasma, Chloasma, Striae
  • Acne scars, big pores
  • Scars after surgery (not keloids)

Special features of the fractionated laser treatment:

  • extremely effective
  • 12 to 20 percent of the skin is treated in one session
  • all skin types
  • mild edema (swelling) 1 to 3 days
  • Anesthesia with surface anesthetics

For best results, 3 to 5 sessions at intervals of 6 to 8 weeks are required.
